For many institutions with collections of local history, the reality is very different from the ideal recommendations for care of artifacts and maintaining storage environments. Don’t be discouraged if you feel that best practices cannot be implemented! This webinar provides guidance on getting started with preservation activities and then improving by using the methods, budget, and resources available. Scenarios for artifact housings--the most significant layer of protection against degradation--will be shared. And then an open Q&A session will follow: Stump Stephenie with your challenges in choosing envelopes, boxes, or folders! Since this event is a zoom meeting, you will have access to audio and video to interact with the group. Please join us!
