This event brings together a variety of speakers including representatives from several local, state, and federal organizations, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, Delaware County Emergency Services, and Delaware County Conservation District. Topics to be discussed include impacts of climate change on flooding, floodplain ordinances and permitting, use of FEMA’s Map Service Center, and how to use the County Hazard Mitigation plan when applying for hazard mitigation grants.
