The Delaware County Planning Department is partnering with the Eastern Delaware County Stormwater Collaborative (EDCSC) for an Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination Workshop. Featured speakers include Jamie Anderson, of the EDCSC, and representatives from the Center for Watershed Protection. Topics discussed will include what is an illicit discharge, what should be done if a resident or municipal official locates one, and what is the responsibility of a municipality to address the discharge if it comes from a municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4). This workshop is aimed at municipal managers and engineers, public works staff, and emergency personnel.
